DESCRIPTION:Christopher St. John’s “Vessel” exhibit will be available at the Jay County Campus of Arts Place from November 16, 2022 – January 2, 2023. The reception for this exhibit will be the 40th Annual Holiday Benefit Auction on Friday, November 18th; doors open at 5:30pm and auction begins at 5:30pm.\nChristopher St. John said of himself in his bio, “My work touches on the impact of place on the shape of our lives, the luck we have in living on a planet with a biosphere, the vocabulary of form, the figure, and impermanence. Animals make regular appearances in my work. My art has been exhibited and collected across the United States and internationally in France, Sweden, Japan, Canada, and Malta. I received my BFA from the University of Alaska at Fairbanks.
