Jerry Hertenstein Exhibit

Jerry Hertenstein grew up in St. Marys, Ohio where as a child he did drawings of trains traveling the Nickel Plate Railroad just outside the living room window. He has a bachelor of arts degree in English literature from Olivet Nazarene University where he minored in art and did graduate work in journalism at The Ohio State University. Jerry spent his working career in journalism and was employed in a variety of positions at daily newspapers throughout the country.

Jerry has a passion for art, theater and music and has been in a number of community theater productions in Fort Wayne.

 

Jerry works in several mediums, including acrylics, mixed media, and oils.

The Jerry Hertenstein Exhibit will be on display at the Auglaize/Mercer Center of Arts Place from January 6 – February 11, 2022. There will be a reception on Saturday, February 12 from 1 – 3 PM. The AMC is open from 12 PM – 6 PM Wednesday – Friday.
