Arts in the Parks

Arts in the Parks is a series of summer arts workshops designed to introduce students aged 6 and older to a variety of experiences in the performing and visual arts. Arts in the Parks classes are offered in 14 communities, including (Ohio) Celina, Coldwater, Fort Recovery, Minster, New Bremen, St. Henry, and St. Marys, as well as (Indiana) Berne, Dunkirk, Hartford City, Montpelier, Pennville, Redkey, and Portland.

How Do I Register

Registration can be completed online at myartsplace.org or over the phone. Visit the link on this webpage that says “Register now!” to be taken to our registration portal. If you have any issues or questions, please call 260-726-4809 for assistance.

What Does It Cost?

Each class costs $5. Camps cost $30. Registration never costs more than $30 per student, even if you register for more than 6 classes. After registering for one camp or six individual classes, all additional classes are free. Scholarships are available to students that qualify for free or reduced school meals. How Many Classes Can I Take?

Participants are allowed to take as many classes as they would like. Every effort will be made to accommodate your requests on a first-come, first-serve basis. Availability of each class is subject to limited enrollment. Registration for the class fees is nonrefundable.

Who May Attend?

Our classes are designed for students 6 – 12, but students under the age of nineteen are welcome to register.

Will My Child Have To Wear Personal PPE, Such As Masks, While They Attend Class?

Arts Place will be following CDC safety guidelines this summer. Masks and social distancing may be required depending on progress in stopping the spread of COVID-19. As the situation is evolving rapidly, please check our website or call Arts Place for the most up-to-date information.
