Arts In the park

Arts in the Parks

Arts in the Parks is a series of summer arts workshops designed to introduce students aged 6 and older to a variety of experiences in the performing and visual arts. Arts in the Parks classes are offered in 14 communities, including (Ohio) Celina, Coldwater, Fort Recovery, Minster, New Bremen, St. Henry, and St. Marys, as well as (Indiana) Berne, Dunkirk, Hartford City, Montpelier, Pennville, Redkey, and Portland.

We have had many complaints about online registration in the past. We heard your concerns and agreed.  We have a new online registration system and ask for your patience as we all learn to navigate the new platform together. Right now the shopping cart is not available so you will only be able to register and pay for one class at a time. We are not sure when the shopping cart will be ready, so please don’t wait. The classes fill up quickly and we don’t want you to miss out on all the fun!

Arts in the Parks FAQ

Arts in the Parks is a series of summer arts workshops designed to introduce students, ages 6 and older, to a variety of experiences in both the performing and visual arts. New classes are added each year and all classes are led by experienced artists and arts educators

What Does It Cost?

Each class costs $5. Camps cost $30. Registration never costs more than $30 per student, even if you register for more than 6 classes. After registering for one camp or six individual classes, all additional classes are free. Please make sure that your child’s name is spelled the exact same way on each registration to receive free classes after paying for your 6th class.

If the $5 class registration fee is keeping your child from participating, please call 260-726-4809 for financial assistance. We want to make sure that every child who wants to particpate can!

How Many Classes Can I Take?

Participants are allowed to take as many classes as they would like. Every effort will be made to accommodate your requests on a first-come, first-serve basis. Availability of each class is subject to limited enrollment. Registration for the class fees is nonrefundable.

Who May Attend?

Our classes are designed for students 6 – 12, but older students may be eligible to participate.
